How to use this online graph and chart site
This site allows you to create baseball
graphs, golf graphs, financial graphs, medical graphs, or any other class of graphs, so that you can see how things have
trended over time. You can have many graphs, each of which belongs to some
category. And you can have many categories, or just a single category -- it is
all up to you. Follow the steps below to get started.
Click on the "Test Drive" menu item at the left. Select any of John Doe's graphs
from the category and graph drop-down lists. Click on the "Print This Graph"
button. Use
your browser to preview and print the graph. You will be able to print your own
graphs just as easily once you create an account on this site and put in the data you want to
trend and graph.
2. Get started on your FREE 3-day trial.
Click on the "Try It Out FREE" menu item at the left. That takes you to a
form where you can sign up for a new user account that is free for 3 days. Fill out that form and
click on the "Create User Button" at the bottom. If that does not take you to
the next page, fix the errors that are marked in red. When you have
successfully done this, you will be taken to a new page where you click on the
Continue button to complete your signup.
Follow these steps to set up graphs.
3. Create at least one category.
There are several ways to get to the page for creating and managing your
categories. You can click on
the "My Graph Categories" button at the top of
the page, or on the left menu, go to Members Only / Manage Categories, or finally, click on the "ManageCategories" link at the very bottom of the page.
On arriving at the Manage Categories page,
you have to click on the "I agree with the above" button where you are acknowledging and agreeing that website administrators have access to your data. Click that button and enter at least one category name by
typing a name in the box and clicking the Add Category button. For example, if
you are going to keep track of things like weight, cholesterol, blood pressure etc,
you might want a category named "MyHealth". Or if you wanted to keep track
of your kids height at each birthday you might want a category "The Kids
Height". Or a financial category. Or a sports category. Anything, really. Enter as many categories as you wish. You can always edit or
delete categories later.
4. Create at least one graph name.
After making at least one category, click on the My Graph Names button at the
top, or on the left menu go to Members Only / Manage Graph Names. You will
arrive at the page where you can enter graph names for any categories you have
created. They will show in the drop-down list. So select one and add one or more
graph names for each category you have created.
For example if you made a category named "My Health", you might want graph
names like "Weight in Pounds" or "Cholesterol" or "Blood Pressure" etc.
Create a graph name by
selecting the category in the drop-down list, typing a graph name in the box,
and clicking the "Add Graph Name" button.
Add as many graph names as you need for each category. They can be edited and
deleted as desired.
4. Add at least two graph data points for each graph.
After completing step 6, you are ready to add some graph data points. Click on
the My Graph Data button at the top, or from the left menu go to
Members Only / Manage Graph Data.
Select a Category and Graph Name from the drop-down lists, and enter your data.
For example if you wanted to enter your weight of 150 on June 15, you
would put 06/15/2018 in the Date box and 150 in the Value box. If you were
entering something like blood pressure that has two numbers like "120 over 80",
you would enter 120 in the Value box and 80 in the Value2 box. Add any
comments you might like associated with the data that day.
Make sure you have entered data for at least two different dates in order to be
able to see a graph.
4. View and edit your graphs.
Click on the "View My Graphs" button at the top of the page, or select
Members Only / View My Graphs from the menu on the left. You will be able to
view any graphs for which you have entered data by selecting the Category and
the Graph Name from the drop-down lists.
Any graph data point can be edited or deleted using the graph data page, by
clicking on the "My Graph Data" button at the top of the page, or from the left
menu by selecting "Members Only" / "Manage Graph Data", and selecting the
category and graph whose data you want to edit or delete.
4. Print your graphs if desired.
If you want to take a graph with you (maybe you have been tracking your
cholesterol and want to show the doctor), click on the print button above the
graph, and use your browser menu and printing facilities to preview and/or print
your graphs.
After your free trial period has expired.
When you go to access your account after your free trial has expired, you will be directed to the Payment page where you will see the Paypal BuyNow button and you can begin the $15 payment process for your 3-year membership.
Please note: Your payment is handled completely by Paypal and their secure process. This site does not record or have any record of your credit card number.
Click on the Paypal BuyNow button and wait until you are transferred to the
Paypal website. You can then enter your credit card data to make your $15
membership payment
or, if you have a Paypal account, you may log in to your Paypal account to make
your payment. ( Note: you do not need to open a
Paypal account to pay with your credit card, even though Paypal makes it seem as
if you should!) Continue on until finally you have made your payment. You will
either be automatically returned to MyNumbersTracker.com or you will arrive at a
page where you may click on a link to return to the site. Upon return, you will
be taken to your profile page.
Sometimes you may be returned to the site from PayPal before the system has
recorded your payment. In that case, just wait a bit and the payment should be
recorded, and you can go to the Members Only / Manage Profile link to update
your profile.
4. Update your profile information.
When you first arrive at the Profile page the only item filled out is your current UserName. Fill out the other information and click "Update My Profile". The additional profile information should be complete enough that we could confirm your identity if you contact us having lost your username. If you don't provide enough profile information to allow us to confirm your identity when you contact us, we will not be able to assist you if you have forgotten your UserName, and you will have permanently lost access to your account. After updating your profile, click on the "go to your
account" link or the "Members Only" link in the menu on the left.
